Meldrum (Mel) Cruz McNeely
plumber/pipefitter in a career that took him to Michigan, Panama, Kentucky, and throughout the state of New Mexico. Mel was immensely proud of his
Hispanic/Native American heritage, and his Irish roots as well. He loved animals, often bringing home stray dogs from his jobsites that would become cherished family pets. He loved music, singing and dancing, and enjoyed playing guitar, camping, fishing, playing handball, and he traveled extensively after his retirement. He was most proud however, of his family. Devoted to and beloved by three generations, “Grumps” will be dearly missed by wife Becky;
son Marc and spouse Ann
Marie; daughter Deborah; grandchildren Matthew and spouse Alicia,
Christina and spouse
David, Michael and spouse Katie; and great-grandchildren Jared, Soren, and Madeline.
