David Olin Evans
July 20, 2017
Jesus saw you were getting tired and parted the heavens for your loving soul to enter. You always gave when you did not have to give. No one could ever deny that you always went that extra mile in topics that you were passionate about (Union 412 and politics that supported the Union). You always had a joke or comment to make everyone laugh. His life was his Godson/nephew, Brandon Salaz and nieces, Maria Salaz and Marisa Littleford. His other passions included fishing and the Colorado Mountains. That is where he felt most at home with nature. He loved his dogs like they were his children. He made amazing friends, George during his lifetime and those friendships made footprints on the hearts of those involved. The footprints that Dave left on families hearts will forever be felt and he will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Our memories and love that we share will hold until we meet again in Gods’ Garden.
He is survived by sisters, Lisa Salaz and her husband, Sean and their children, Brandon and Maria, and Shawn Littleford and her husband Eric, and their daughter, Marisa; brother, Phillip McDonough and his wife, Rebecca, and their children, Jacob and Ashley. He is preceded in death by Janet McDonough, Walter (Phil) McDonough, Dora Chavez, Kenneth Evans, and Pasita (Mama) Chavez.
A Memorial Service for David will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Local Union 412, 510 San Pedro Dr. SE.
